Floor

The floors which separate two different levels needs insulation to reduce the impact noise reaching the floor below.
Noise generated by the people walking in the floor above or the noise from vibrating machines and equipment from can be isolated using suitable insulation to create acoustic comfort. KIMMCO-ISOVER provides high resilient and durable  very high compressive strength and point load making it a preferred choice for floor insulation application.stone wool products for different floor constructions. It is important to disconnect the floor and the wall through proper insulation to obtain optimum acoustics.

Floor insulation in intermediate floor acts as sound barrier preventing impact sound from being transmitted to other parts of the building through floor and wall structures.Incase of floor separating air-conditioned space from unconditioned area, floor insulation acts as a thermal insulation reducing the heat loss/gain besides acting as sound barrier.

Advantages:

  • A1 fire rating - Highest rating for insulation materials
  • High mechanical strength – compressive and point load
  • Optimum Acoustic performance
