Ideal for your ventilation and air-conditioning ductworkCLIMAVER® air ducts are a state-of-the-art pre-insulated duct system made from non-combustible glass wool: lightweight, efficient and easy to assemble, CLIMAVER® is adapted to any project.

CLIMAVER® self-supporting ducts were designed not only with building occupants in mind, but also ease of installation and reduced environmental impact. Unlike traditional ventilation ducts which require a separate exterior layer of insulation, CLIMAVER® pre-insulated duct is integrated directly into the duct structure. Glass wool insulation is surrounded by highly durable interior and exterior facing surfaces for rigidity and ease of cleaning.

  • Acoustic insulation

CLIMAVER® ventilation ducts enhance the acoustic comfort for the building occupants. The insulated duct dampens the sound generated from mechanical components, resulting in a quieter, more comfortable environment. Special NETO glass fabric is used on the inner side of the duct to achieve maximum acoustic absorption and keep noise levels to a minimum.

  • Fire safety (UL181, Certified) 

The CLIMAVER ® system provides assurances of being the ‘best in class’ with its excellent fire credentials. CLIMAVER ®does not support any flashover which means it meets and exceeds the fire requirements in GCC. In case of a real fire, it won’t emit smoke or help to propagate fire!

  • Thermal insulation

CLIMAVER® saves energy by ensuring excellent thermal insulation. The air is kept fresh and at the correct temperature where you need it, which in turn guarantees high levels of comfort for building occupants. 

  • Airtight performance

The surface on the external side of the duct has a reinforced aluminium foil facing, which acts as a vapour barrier and ensures the duct is airtight. CLIMAVER® products obtain the best air-tightness class (D) which gives you huge savings during building lifespan. 

  • Easy installation

CLIMAVER® pre-insulated ducts are delivered flat in a pallet, reducing the space required for transport. Once delivered and manufactured on the job site, the duct is exceptionally lightweight, making lifting and assembly easy. The SDM guidelines are marked on facing to ease the duct manufacturing on- or off-site using the Straight Duct Method (SDM). CLIMAVER® tools facilitate quick and accurate cuts. Angles, splits and boots are easily cut and assembled from the duct material itself, reducing the need for specialized connecting pieces. The result is a speedy one-stage installation compared to the multiple stages required for sheet metal insulated duct work. CLIMAVER® is also >50% lighter than metal duct + mineral wool insulation.

  • Environmentally friendly

CLIMAVER® pre-insulated duct boards are manufactured from recycled glass and have been certified to meet green building requirements. They can be easily disassembled and recycled at the end of their usable life. The excellent thermal performance and airtightness further reduce the environmental impact of the HVAC system. 

  • High pressure resistance and durabilty

CLIMAVER® pre insulated ducts can withstand constant pressure up to 800Pa, with a safety factor of 2.5, without any cracking.  CLIMAVER® pre-insulated duct last easily over 30 years without losing performance covering the entire building life time.
